One 1800 and an amazing Four Amazons travelled from Adelaide to the Yorke Peninsula to attend the Copper Coast Classic Cavalcade, held as part of a week long Cornish Festival - or "Kernewek Lowender". Much like a scaled down Bay to Birdwood Classic, 500 plus vehicles assembled at the grain silo marshalling yard on the outskirts of Wallaroo for breakfast. About 10am we set off in convoy on a tour of Wallaroo town centre, down to Moonta and back to Kadina (The Copper Triangle) finishing up on Kadina oval. The four 120's travelling nose to tail with the 1800 leading the way during the cavalcade certainly drew attention from the many spectators along the route. |
