Volvo car owners and enthusiasts
The Club began life in 1982 with a number of Volvo car owners meeting periodically to share their passion for Volvo marque.
Formalised by Incorporation as a non-profit organization in June 1983, the intentions of the Club are:
- To promote fellowship through social activities amongst Club members; and
- To encourage the participation of members in national events by sharing and exchanging information;
- To co-operate with similar Clubs throughout Australia and overseas.
The Club maintains affiliations with Federation of Historic Motoring Clubs SA (FHMCSA), the Combined Car Clubs Inc (CCC), and the Marques Sports Car Association of SA (MSCASA).
Through the CCC the Club has access to a shared Club Rooms facility located at the Glandore Community Centre, Clark Ave, Glandore. General Meetings are held on 2nd Friday night of the months of January, March, May, July (usually AGM), September, and November. Meetings generally start at 7:30pm.

And through the MSCASA affiliation, any of our members with a Motorsports desire may participate in Track days and similar activities.
Finally the club is an Authorised Motor Vehicles club under the SA Government's Conditional Registraion Scheme for Historic, Individually Constructed, Left-Hand Drive and Street Rod Vehicles (aka 'Club Rego'). The Volvo Car club mainly operates in the Historic and Left-Hand Drive categories.

Membership fees
- Joining Fee - $20.00
- Renewal Fee (Single Member) - $50.00 per year
- Renewal Fee (Family Member) - $60.00 per year
- Club Registration Surcharge - $20.00 per year for 1st Vehicle
- Club Registration Surcharge - $ 5.00 per year and per additional Vehicle
